Reformatted it using FAT32 and can now transfer the full 2gb of photo's onto it. After successfull formatting, I went on experimenting with the drive the same way as in the example above; I tried copying the 470 picture files to it. Nothing else required, no reformatting, deleting, etc. If you need space to create those, delete some data temporarily.
